Wow that was a lot of swatching! After about 3 rows I started regretting the decision to swatch the whole palette but now I have all the photos I feel like it was worth it! Sorry about the lighting difference in the last picture by the way, hazard of using natural lighting.

I'm not going to go too in depth about each colour as it is pretty picture heavy already. Just FYI, the matte shades are a bit chalky, the whites/ greys were a bit less pigmented and some shades had fallout more than others. The best formulated in my opinion were the blues, purples and pinks. The rest were really nice as well.

I got this palette a long time ago when I was just getting into makeup and now I'm stuck in a bit of a neutral eyeshadow rut, so what I've been doing is adding a slight pop of colour using this palette and it really adds to a look.

The best thing about this palette though, it's under £10. The price does fluctuate and right now it is £6.99 and is now being sold as the LaRoc 120 Palette (probably renamed off the hype of the Lorac Palettes). Anyway, a lot of brands do large palettes like this, and from what research I did when I got this, most of the palettes are the same just with different branding stuck on (eg. Coastal Scents, BH cosmetics etc).

So anyway, if you're interested in a cheap and cheerful set that has lots of colours and is fun, this would probably fit your needs, the quality isn't the best, but you do get what you pay for and when you use brights as little as I do, it's just a fun piece and a bargain!

Signing off now,

Dusty Foxes.

  1. This looks like a great palette. Very cheap as well! I always stick to neutral colours but I would love to be able to experiment with pinks, greens, blues etc!

  2. Oh my gosh, I can't believe it's under £7 for all of those shades! I'm not a fan of using coloured shadows but it'd be amazing for those who do xx

    1. It's definitely a good deal! I use it to mimic the Urban Decay Electric palette tutorials!
